As Past President (2011) it would be very easy for me to write a very lengthy testimonial of how great being involved with WCR is to me. To make it short & simple: WCR is a great networking group of people that become friends, good information is shared at the business luncheons, it's fun, it expands your horizons with real estate professionals & affiliates developing a strong level of trust by working together, people care with helping others in the community, you obtain timely knowledge with our marketplace, it's powerful....attend a gathering & see for yourself! There's so much more!

My membership in WCR has given me educational growth and professional support far beyond my expectations. The mission of the Women’s Council of Realtors focuses on empowerment which they provide through opportunities to learn, participate and grow your personal relationships with other like-minded women and men who understand this crazy business of real estate and what needs to be done to be successful in doing it.  I started with a simple business resource lunch and grew to become President in 2009. It is one of the best business decisions I made for myself since becoming a Realtor. You owe it to yourself to see where you can go!

We are proud of our membership in WCR and to partner with a group of energetic individuals who share our passion for Real Estate, helping people achieve the American Dream of home ownership. The monthly meetings and various events throughout each year allow us time to meet the people we work with in a setting that is outside of business and away from the closing table. This allows us to foster positive relationships and grow each others business. While we may be competitors, our goals are to be a source of information and to educate the membership; WCR allows us this opportunity. Finally, WCR has enabled many people the opportunity to improve their leadership skills. This has been accomplished by serving on various committees’ or presenting at meetings. Through WCR, many of our employees at Omaha Title and Escrow have been able to take advantage of numerous leadership development opportunities.
